Here is your “instruction manual” for the role of table-topics master.

  1. When calling on people, try to make sure that all members get a chance to speak.
    - call on members who have not been assigned a speaker or evaluator role first before calling on anyone else.
    - if you want to call on guests, make sure that all members present will have gotten a chance to speak by the end of the meeting
  2. Table Topics trains thinking-on-your-feet. Try to keep everyone thinking by assigning a new question for each person you call on.
  3. Feel free to experiment with your questions and topics!
  4. Need an idea fast? Try searching the internet.

    ・スピーチか論評の役の与えていない人をまず指名してから他の人を指名しましょう
    ・来客を指名する場合、零階中に会員の皆さんは何らかの話す役割が与えているのを確認できてからおねがいします。
  2. 即興スピーチは即興思考術を鍛えるためのゲームで、できるだけ指名する人に皆新しい議題を与えましょう。
