Toastmaster Lewis Becomes Competent Communicator
Please join me in congratulating outgoing President Helen Lewis on having completed a total of 20 evaluated speech projects. More information about the toastmasters education program is avalable here: and in the back of your manual. TM Lewis will get a frameable 8×11 embossed certificate and a letter to her employer. That’s more than I got for my college education.
Public speaking is like martial arts, surfing, mountain climbing, or driving from san francisco to new york with no map – as long as you set goals, invest the time, and work at a sustainable pace, progress is guaranteed. I’m looking forward to good things with you all in the coming year.
